Las Vegas CPR

CPR Training Courses in Mississauga
We use adult and pediatric training mannequins and equipment when teaching students in a hands-on lesson.

Las Vegas CPR is the best training center in Las Vegas, Nevada. We offer quality training for very affordable rates. Compared to other providers in the city, none offer better courses than we do. We have a total of eight programs on CPR and AED training, one for the general public while the rest are for people who work in healthcare or study allied health. All of our courses are taught by trainers who are certified, so there is no doubt about the quality of the training we are giving you.

CPR training certificates

Our training certificates are valid for a full 24 months before they expire. We require all our rescuers to sign up for a re-certification class before their certificate expires. Once your training certificate expires, you will no longer be able to qualify for re-certification; you have to take the training program again.

Our training credentials are valid all over country and will meet whatever requirements you need them for.

CPR training

Basic life support (BLS)

Our eight training programs are divided into basic and aadvanced courses. We offer only one course to the public, a basic CPR course called Heartsaver CPR and AED training. This program has two courses under it, the general public course that is 4 hours long and the healthcare provider course that is 4 and a half hours long. This program is all about basic CPR rescue with chest compressions and rescue breaths. We also introduce them to automated external defibrillators (AEDs), machines that send electric currents to the heart in order to normalize the heart rhythm.

The other basic CPR course is Basic Life Support for HCPs, a program exclusive for people in healthcare. It focuses on both single-person and two-person CPR rescue, with the use of equipment such as AEDs and bag valve masks. this is is a more advanced form of basic CPR training, introducing trainees to the 2010 BLS guidelines.

Advanced life support (ALS)

ALS classes are only for HCPs. We require trainees who want to apply for advanced training to have an existing Basic Life Support for HCPs certificate, as well as a passing result on the pre-test. We have two advanced classes, one for the management of adults and the other for children (pediatric patients). Technically, people younger than 18 years old are considered pediatric patients but our Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) program focuses more on infants, toddlers, and younger children.

The other program, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) has the same basic curriculum as PALS but focuses on adult patients. Both ALS programs teach trainees how to medically manage cardiac arrest in a controlled and organized healthcare setting, typically an emergency room or a clinical area. Medical management covers administration of medication and the use of equipment (like mechanical ventilators and other oxygen support devices).
